Modular Sanitary Solution for Humanitarian Operations in the UAE
In humanitarian contexts, speed, reliability, and flexibility are critical. In the United Arab Emirates, the Red Crescent faced the challenge of deploying sanitary facilities quickly in temporary locations. Modular construction provided the ideal framework to meet these urgent needs.
The Challenge
The project required a compact and efficient wastewater management solution within modular sanitary containers. Several constraints had to be addressed:
- Limited space inside containers
- No possibility of gravity drainage
- Wastewater coming from multiple sources (toilets, showers, washbasins)
- Ensuring reliable sanitation under these conditions was essential for maintaining hygiene and operational continuity.
The Solution
To meet these requirements, the Sanicubic 1 WP was installed directly inside the modular container.
